A YOUNG dad is ...shocked and speechless... after he claimed he discovered the frozen body of a dead baby. Two women have been arrested following Darnell Jackson's horrific discovery at the property in South Yorks.

Ben LackTwo females \- a teenage girl and a woman in her 40s \- have been arrested after a baby was found dead at a home in Doncaster '/ ' The dad, 23, said he rushed round to a neighbour's home after his partner told him a dead baby had been found there. Police were called to the house in Doncaster at 12.15pm yesterday but tragically, the baby was declared dead at the scene. A 17-year-old girl and woman, 45, have been arrested on suspicion of murder and remain in custody. Darnell told the Mirror his partner Carol Hirst, 28, said to go round after she had apparently seen a baby at the property. He said: "I just literally grabbed the bag to take a look and straight away I could tell it was a dead baby as Carol and I had just had our own baby girl so I knew there was no doubt in my mind. "The baby was in the foetal position. You could see that the skin was frozen, there was a lot of frost on its legs. "I was shocked and speechless. I work at the local supermarket Herons just across from our house and I recognised the bag immediately. "I left then as I couldn't stay in the house and I had a cigarette in the garden to calm my nerves. I felt physically sick and waited for the police to arrive." A police cordon is now in place and the public are being asked to keep away. Photos from the scene show a marked car parked outside a terraced home, with a cop clad in black guarding the property. Temporary Superintendent Jamie Henderson said locals will be distressed to hear of the horror. He said: "This is an extremely tragic case and I know the local community, and those further afield, will be very upset to hear about what has happened. "At this time, our investigation into the circumstances surrounding the baby's death is in the very early stages. ...We ask the public not to speculate about the case.... He said a cordon remains in place. Anyone with information has been asked to call police on 101, quoting incident number 325 of 16 December.
