The substitute teacher was working at Lakeland High, in Florida One of their encounters was allegedly shared on TikTok and shown to students at the school, including a large group of football players. This prompted one student, who suspected abuse, to contact the authorities. Polk County Public Schools Superintendent Frederick Heid said: ...The charges against this person are disgraceful and a complete violation of the trust that teachers build with their students. ...There is no room in our schools for this type of conduct.... He added: ...We expect substitute teachers to uphold the same high standards of conduct and professionalism as our full-time educators.... Sheriff Grady Judd said: ...This is a clear violation of sexual battery laws. ...She was in a position of influence over the victim, and she took advantage of that for her own twisted pleasure.... Davis who was working at Lakeland High, in Lakeland Florida, as a substitute teacher from the staffing agency Kelly Education Services, reportedly admitted to having unprotected sex with the student. The PCSO said that it began investigating the teacher on Friday December 3 after a Lakeland High School student informed Lakeland Police Department School Resource officers about a video showing Davis and student having sex.
