NFL star Marcus Maye has been arrested after allegedly pointing a gun at a group of girls during a road rage incident on Monday. Maye, who previously spent five years of his career with the New York Jets signed a three-year, $28.5 million contract with the Saints earlier this year.

The Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office told TMZ Sports that while driving a black SUV, Maye allegedly pointed a gun at a car of ...several juvenile females.... He signed his new contract with the Saints in March. SAINTS IN THE HOT SEAT Maye is not the only Saints player battling off-the-field issues. Alvin Kamara, a running back, is facing felony battery charges following an incident that occurred earlier this year during Pro Bowl weekend in Las Vegas. He is accused of being involved in an incident outside of a nightclub on February 5. Surveillance video from the incident shows Kamara allegedly punching a man repeatedly, leaving him hospitalized. Kamara was reportedly identified as a suspect that same day and NFL security was informed hours before kickoff for the February 6 Pro Bowl that police were looking for the 26-year-old, according to TMZ Sports. Authorities allegedly came to an agreement with the NFL that the running back would be allowed to play the exhibition game and that Kamara would speak to them afterward. Kamara's lawyers have postponed his hearing multiple times. The hearing is currently scheduled to begin on September 29.
