Another suspect in slay attempt on Lanao del Sur Gov. Adiong arrested

MANILA, Philippines — Another suspect involved in the ambush of Lanao del Sur Governor Mamintal Adiong Jr. was arrested last Dec. 30 in Negros Occidental, according to the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG). In a report on Tuesday, the CIDG said its operatives arrested 52-year-old Ameno Amatonding along Barangay Aguisan, Himamaylan, around 5:04 p.m.
