Janica Nam Floresca revealed that she has a new relationship, years after the passing of Franco Hernandez.
The Hashtags member died in November 2017 due to a drowning accident while on vacation with Floresca. He was 26.
Floresca shared photos of polaroids with her boyfriend, Lorenz Sia, on Instagram last Sunday, Sept. 13.
One photo dated Sept. 8 shows the couple with a cake that says, “Can you be my girlfriend please?”
“Love just comes naturally and it will find it’s way into our lives, just like how God has sent you to me,” the model said. “You are my today and all of my [tomorrows].”
Sia likewise posted a polaroid selfie on his Instagram on Sunday, writing in the caption, “Never fallen quite this high.”
A day before going public with their relationship, Floresca reflected on finding love again in an Instagram post.
“Since the day my Angel had passed away almost 3 [years] ago, I was actually [content with] being alone. I even thought of not being with someone else ever, as long as I have my family, friends and God, I knew that I would be okay,” she said. “But this year I asked myself what if someday when someone comes into my life, will I get to fall [in love] again?”
She also opened up on how she has become stronger after her experience with grief.
“My experience was extreme and intense heartache you couldn’t imagine, and most people think that my heart hasn’t healed, but believe me because I know in many ways IT HAS!” she said.
“I know my angel above is smiling and happy for me. He will always be loved and missed.”
Floresca added that Hernandez “will always be a part of who I am.” /ra
